About Urban Clarity

Amanda Wiss is the founder of Urban Clarity, a professional organizing company that helps busy New Yorkers get out from under the clutter, streamline their spaces, and maximize their lives.

 

Dedicated to helping her clients create energizing, enjoyable spaces for themselves, Amanda has a proven ability to listen to her clients’ inner story and tailor a program to their personality and lifestyle. 

 

An active member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), Amanda serves on the Board of NAPO-NY as the Director of Professional Development.   She was honored to receive the 2009 President’s Award for her extensive contribution to NAPO-NY. 

 

Featured on RachaelRay.com as an organizing expert, Amanda writes for the blog A Child Grows in Brooklyn and was quoted in NY Family Brooklyn in May 2009.

 

A frequent speaker, Amanda leads in-person workshops on managing your time, organizing your home or office and decreasing your stress. 

 

Amanda also serves on the Board of the NY Wellesley Club, where she organizes alumni programs and leads the book club.  Amanda lives in Fort Greene, Brooklyn with her husband and their two toddlers.
